The plateau at Narayangaon, with champaca rows and the hill range beyond
We do not source. We grow. We extract. We guarantee.

The House
L’Or Champaca is the single-origin champaca house
of PRMC Naturals Pvt Ltd. We control origin,
cultivation and extraction end to end — from 656
metres of Deccan plateau to the vial in a perfumer’s
hands. It cannot be replicated. It can only be grown.
Champaca rows running towards the hill range
I · The Land
Narayangaon stands at 656 metres (2,152 ft)
on the western margin of the Deccan plateau,
leeward of the Sahyadri. The Meena runs along
its edge; a hill range seals the south. No
highway hum, no industrial haze. This quiet
is not accidental. It is chosen.
The farm well, cut into dark Deccan rock
II · The Water
Our champaca drinks from the Kukadi Left
Bank Canal — monsoon-fed water from a
high-altitude catchment — delivered by drip,
root by root, in the measure required.
Not efficiency. Respect for the watershed.
Fallen champaca seed pods on the black earth
III · The Earth
Deccan trap black cotton soil holds moisture
and depth; seams of red lateritic loam drain
with purpose. No synthetic pesticide or
synthetic fertiliser has touched this land —
it is replenished with gobar and compost.

IV · The Flower
Magnolia champaca blooms in every month
at Narayangaon. We cut on alternating days,
so each flower reaches full maturation, and
harvest by hand at the hour of its fullest
expression — richer, more carnal, more
architecturally complex.

V · The People
Our harvest team comes from the villages
around Narayangaon. They read the farm the
way a perfumer reads a formula — by feel,
by memory, by quiet observation. Every vial
carries their judgement as much as our intention.
Extraction
Reduced pressure lowers the boiling point of
the solvent. Solvent recovery therefore runs at
temperatures 40–60 °C below conventional
methods, and the volatile fractions that give
the living flower its radiance are kept intact.
Pressure
Conventional: at or near atmospheric · L’Or Champaca: far below atmospheric
Solvent recovery
Conventional: prolonged heat · L’Or Champaca: 40–60 °C lower
Volatile top notes
Conventional: partly degraded or driven off · L’Or Champaca: preserved
Additives
No synthetic additives, carriers or diluents at any stage
